Wood-inhabiting fungal communities : Opportunities for integration of empirical and theoretical community ecology
2022
Publisher Copyright: © 2021 The Author The interest in studying wood-inhabiting fungal communities has grown in recent years. This interest has mainly been motivated by the important roles of wood-inhabiting fungi in ecosystem functioning (e.g. nutrient cycling) and conservation biology (e.g. their sensitivity to forest management). In this paper, I argue that another important, but yet largely unexplored motivation for studying wood-inhabiting fungal communities, is their potential to advance fundamental community ecology. One major advantage of wood-inhabiting fungi as model systems is that they are organized as spatially well-defined metacommunities, thus conforming to the assumptions of…
New Specifications for Territorial Intelligence Community System
2014
International audience; For 25 years now the territorial intelligence method Catalysis offers amultidimensional and multisectorial approach to territory. It integrates quantitativeanalysis, qualitative and spatial methods to co-construct tools available to actors insustainable development. It is an ambitious way of thinking because of the extremelyrapid evolution of information and communication technology and, consequently, ofthese methods. We passed successively to the idea of a "Catalyse toolkit" that put together tools on apersonal computer in the early 2000s, to the concept of "territorial intelligencecommunity systems" at the end of the European program caENTI (2006-2009). SCIT isa soc…

SIC et Intelligence Territoriale : Relations pragmatiques et disciplinaires
2009
SIC and the Territorial Intelligence maintain multiple relations today. The method of territorial observation Catalyse, carried by the European Network of the Territorial Intelligence, proposes a modelling under the shape of what Jean-Jacques Girardot calls a community system of territorial intelligence (SCIT) (Girardot 2008). It is by the organization of the structuralization of the information, and by the conception of the process of communication that this type of system takes life.
Territorial Intelligence Communicational and Community System (TICCS)
2009
Information and Communication Sciences and Territorial Intelligence concept maintain multiple relations today. The method of territorial observation Catalyse, carried by the European Network of Territorial Intelligence, proposes a modelling under the shape of what Jean-Jacques Girardot calls a territorial intelligence community system (TICS, Girardot 2008). It is by the organization of the structuralization of the information, and by the conception of the process of communication that this kind of system takes life, and it is these aspects which we détail here to illustrate that both notions bring mutually. Experiments of research-action led in France, in Spain and in Europe feed these refl…
